Whitby Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 2nd , 2048 The Whitby Kingfishers organization will have to turn its attention to next season -- the team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in 2048 today. Whitby last appeared in the postseason in 2042. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 34-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Kingfishers have missed the playoffs 8 times. Whitby has won the AA Championship 3 times in their history. |
