Toronto's McIlmoyle CAN's Best Monday, May 3rd , 2049 John McIlmoyle had a week for the ages as he romped to the Canadian Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 37-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Toronto Maples second baseman hit .409 last week as he chalked up 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. To date McIlmoyle has chalked up a .314 average with 4 home runs, driven in 16 runs and scored 15 times. |
