Burkett Named April's #1 Newcomer Saturday, May 1st , 2049 Youngster Cole Burkett emerged as the latest USA Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Toledo deserved the honor, batting .259 with 2 home runs and 16 RBI. Is the month of April a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Burkett enjoy the limelight. |
