Top USA Reliever Honored Tuesday, October 13th , 2048 Bruce Peraca came out of the bullpen and worked through tough situations all year, and for his performance he's been named the recipient of the USA Lake Ontario Relief Award for 2048. The 32-year-old out of Brooklyn, New York captured the award with 20 saves in 75 relief appearances, 112 strikeouts in 99 innings and a record of 5 wins and 9 losses to go with his 2.36 ERA. "I'm thankful, it's a great honor," he told Baseball News Network. Alberto Espinoza of the Traverse City Bears finished second in voting, while Ken Shannon of the Traverse City Bears finished third. |
