Owen Sound Hurler Tops in Lake Michigan POY Award Voting Tuesday, October 13th , 2048 When the name of Dave Moss appeared on the Owen Sound lineup card in 2048, it was a virtual guarantee of a victory or at least a well-pitched game. For his brilliant performance this season he was named the Canadian Lake Michigan POY Award winner today. He started 29 games, running up a 13-9 record and a 2.14 ERA. Moss held opponents to a .213 average while striking out 182, walking 34 and allowing 153 hits in 197.2 innings of work. Carlos Snow of the Thunder Bay Caribou finished second in voting, while Jason Sweeney of the Windsor Vigilantes finished third. |
