Huffman Hits 2 home runs in Architects Win
|
The Chicago Architects topped the Hamilton Mounties by a score of 6-3. Leading the way was first baseman Daniel Huffman. Huffman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Architects. Jay Bryant picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-0. He struck out 4 in 6 innings. The Mounties fall to 7-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2049 season.
Huffman had a key at-bat for Chicago early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Chicago an early 3-0 lead.
Huffman expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
