League KO's Eclipse-Rollers Players with 6-Game Suspensions Sunday, August 16th , 2048 Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Eclipse Fernando Gonzáles and the Rollers Israel Aguilar as both benches cleared during the fracas at Solar Field. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Fernando Gonzáles and Israel Aguilar will each have to sit out 6-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. Thus far this year Gonzáles is batting .217 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Israel Aguilar has made 51 relief appearances, saving 1. His record is 2-2 with 55 strikeouts in 74.2 innings and a 6.51 ERA. |
