Postseason Bid Ends for Pointe Pelee Thursday, August 13th , 2048 It won't be a season to remember for the Pointe Pelee Monarchs, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Monarchs were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2048 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Pointe Pelee reliever Dorian May. Pointe Pelee last appeared in the postseason in 2037. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 34-year history. Pointe Pelee has won the AAA Championship 4 times in their history. |
