Stott Fashions Shutout Against Pointe Pelee Tuesday, August 11th , 2048 Bill Stott was throwing strikes early and getting ahead in the count, his manager said after the London Eclipse hurler tossed a 5-hit, complete game shutout against the Pointe Pelee Monarchs. "I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Stott. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings." Stott walked 2 and struck out 5 in the 2-0 victory. This season Stott has 8 wins and 10 losses and a 3.67 ERA.
