Manitoulin Island Announces MacEwen Will Retire Sunday, August 2nd , 2048 Lewis MacEwen may be retiring from professional baseball, but don't expect him to sit still. The Manitoulin Island Royals starting pitcher today announced that this season will be his last. But at age 37, he still has big plans for the future. "I'm looking forward to traveling and seeing the world outside of GLBL Triple A parks. I also want to start taking up some new hobbies and maybe start up a new business, too," he said. "I'm going to enjoy my retirement." In his career, MacEwen has chalked up an ERA of 3.24. His won-loss record stands at 154-126. |
