July's SL1 Top Pitcher is Rockers Kline Saturday, August 1st , 2048 There was little doubt around the Sub League 1 that John Kline would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for July. Today, they made it official, naming the 25-year-old Plymouth Rockers starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a .180 batting average while fashioning a 1.47 ERA in 6 starts. His record for the month was 4-1 in 36.2 innings of work. To this point in the season, Kline shows a 4-3 record, 13 starts, 92.2 innings, 93 strikeouts and a 2.53 ERA. |
