Herons Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, July 30th , 2048 The Bay of Quinte Herons were stuck in the middle this season -- not competitive enough in the playoff chase to be considered relevant, but not far enough behind to be completely written off. Until now, that is -- today, the Herons were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Herons have made the playoffs 12 times in their 34 years as a GLBL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2043. In the last 10 seasons, the Herons have made the playoffs 2 times. Bay of Quinte last won the AAA Championship in 2043. |
