Pointe Pelee Loses Williams for Year Tuesday, July 7th , 2048 John Williams will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Pointe Pelee reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Williams was injured while throwing a pitch in the Monarchs-Eclipse clash at Solar Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 9-10 months. Thus far this season Williams has saved 1 games. His won-lost mark is 3 wins and 3 losses with 82 strikeouts in 94.2 innings, along with a 2.09 ERA. |
