Mews Grabs CAN Lake Ontario Relief Award
Tuesday, October 13th , 2048
The Lake Ontario Relief Award goes to the Canadian reliever who put forward the strongest season.

This season, that player was Luke Mews of the Windsor Vigilantes, who was above all his peers in 2048.

"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."

On the season, Mews pitched 81.1 innings, with 88 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.22. He also had 43 saves in 69 relief appearances.

Santiago Costa of the Kingston Comets finished second in voting, while Juan Sánchez of the Hamilton Mounties finished third.
