Canadian Names Top Player Tuesday, October 13th , 2048 Windsor's Toshiyuki Goto put the wraps on a fine campaign today by winning the 2048 Canadian Lake Superior Player Award. The 32-year-old veteran scorched the opposition with a .265 average, picking up 122 hits, 31 doubles, 1 triple, 15 home runs and 62 RBIs, while scoring 64 runs. Jamal Amador of the Thunder Bay Caribou finished second in voting, while Wilson Meléndez of the Hamilton Mounties finished third. |
