Caribou Heading to GLBL Championship Thursday, September 24th , 2048 Mark one up for the Thunder Bay Caribou. In the crucial final game, they put away the Windsor Vigilantes 6-4 at Justice Field to win the League Championship, 4-3 and advance to the GLBL Championship. Although his team came up short, Windsor's Charlie Ruíz was named the series MVP, with many of the league media feeling the series would have been over much sooner if not for his contributions. "Ruíz did a lot to keep Windsor in it, no doubt about that," said Caribou manager Daniel Mays. The Thunder Bay Caribou don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Duluth Sea Gulls - Milwaukee Eagles series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece.
