Lau Named Top Reliever for CAN Saturday, October 7th, 2023 Ken Lau came out of the bullpen and worked through tough situations all year, and for his performance he's been named the recipient of the Canadian Lake Ontario Relief Award for 2023. The 28-year-old out of Winnipeg, Canada captured the award with 44 saves in 69 relief appearances, 79 strikeouts in 70.2 innings and a record of 7 wins and 3 losses to go with his 1.27 ERA. "I'm thankful, it's a great honor," he told Baseball News Network. River Gutiérrez of the Owen Sound Waveriders finished second in voting, while Bruce Ralph of the Owen Sound Waveriders finished third. |
