Chicago Grabs 3-1 Road Win
|
The Chicago Architects picked up a win at The Nest, knocking off the Milwaukee Eagles, 3-1. On the mound for Chicago was left-hander Frank McKinney, who played a pivotal role in the win. Hai-feng Jiao earned his 16th save in 21 chances. The 4th-place Architects are 65-69.
Chicago relied on the bat of Milovan Jevtic to get the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Architects ahead, 2-0. For the game, Jevtic had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Jevtic.
