Eagles Walk It Off for 73rd Win of Season
|
Milwaukee picked up a win at The Nest, toppling the Kingston Comets, 6-3. Pitcher Didier Charles was one of the reasons the Eagles triumphed. The winner was Joe Nauss in relief. His record improves to 7-0. António Valle took the loss. Milwaukee goes to 73-56. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
Tom Estes was the walk-off hero for Milwaukee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Eagles right fielder hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Charles said after the game.
