Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Hamilton Mounties got the win.

The Hamilton Mounties topped the Duluth Sea Gulls, 4-2, in Canadian action at Sea Gulls Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hamilton pitcher Dan Webb. Juan Sánchez notched his 31st save in 33 chances.

With Hamilton leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Webb hit a changeup from Warren Townsend for a run-scoring double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Mounties ahead, 2-0.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Hamilton manager Al Borie.

Hamilton now sits in 5th place in the North of the Border at 58-69.
