Getting an impressive start from Marcos Guzmán, Chicago beat Windsor by the score of 1-0. Chicago reliever Tsutomu Fukuda picked up the win, upping his record to 7-4. Roger Horne absorbed the loss. The Architects raised their record to 61-66.
Chicago won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With two outs and Roger Horne on the mound for Windsor, third baseman Kent Noseworthy hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Architects fans to their feet.
