Windsor rode a good effort from starter Jason Sweeney to beat the Hamilton Mounties at Harbour Field. The final score was 3-2. Reliever Luis Torres picked up the win. His record improves to 3-3. Wally Howard took the loss. Luke Mews got the save, his 32nd in 34 chances.

Rick Blackmore provided a timely hit. The Windsor shortstop delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Vigilantes on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"It's fun coming to the ballpark," said Sweeney, "when you're on this kind of roll."

The wins continue to add up for Windsor, with the latest making it 9 in a row.
