The Hamilton Mounties had to overcome a fine effort from Windsor pitcher Jason Sweeney to grab a narrow 8-6 win at Justice Field. Sweeney went 7.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Hamilton pitcher Lewis MacEwen got the win. He's now 3-5. Kyle Potter was tagged with the loss. Hamilton is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Glen Dickie came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Windsor pitcher Kyle Potter, he hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Hamilton on top, 7-6.

"Winning never gets dull," said Dickie.
