Kingston center fielder Esteban Chapa played a vital role in his team's 9-4 triumph over Owen Sound. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Kingston. Kingston reliever Quincy Cooper picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Marc Rowsell shouldered the loss. The win puts Kingston at 3-3.

The Comets got a big at-bat from left fielder Miguel Santiago. For the game, Santiago was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Kingston a 6-4 lead.
