The Kingston Comets beat the Hamilton Mounties, 4-2. Kingston pitcher and Ann Arbor, Michigan, native Greg Patterson led the way. Kingston is now 24-29.

The Comets got a big at-bat from catcher Mike Edwards. For the game, Edwards was 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Kingston a 3-2 lead.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Edwards told the Kingston Daily.
