Vigilantes Lose to Caribou, 7-1
Thunder Bay starter Kevin Simonin put a stranglehold on the Windsor offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Caribou to a 7-1 win. Simonin picked up the win for Thunder Bay, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Thunder Bay raised its record to 18-14 with the win.

Mark Lynch dealt the Vigilantes a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Thunder Bay leading 2-0, Lynch hit a 1-2 splitter for a 2-run single.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Simonin.
