Eagles Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
Milwaukee third baseman Sam Simms made his presence felt in the 6-3 Eagles triumph over the Duluth Sea Gulls. Simms went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Travis Baldwin earned the save, his 4th. The win gives Milwaukee a season record of 19-10.
Simms had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a double. The Eagles went on to win.
"We've got a great group of guys," Simms said, "and we're having fun right now."
